What We Do
Southern Coastal Homes is an award-winning, custom builder with a rich history in the building industry. We are a smaller-volume boutique builder focused purely on residential construction with a strong emphasis on personal attention and expert craftsmanship. Both of the business owners have over 30 years in the building industry, are extremely involved in each unique project, and are genuinely interested in delivering extraordinary results.
Scott Middleton
Licensed Residential Builder, President
Scott began his career in the finance field as a CPA for Coopers & Lybrand. Immediately following, he began building homes for a nationally recognized builder, where he developed a strong foundation in estimating, budgeting, construction management, efficiency, disciplined project delivery and quality control. He later transitioned into the luxury custom home market, bringing that depth of experience to the creation of highly personalized and architecturally distinctive residences. In total, Scott has over 30 years of building experience and has the breadth of building expertise and the depth of financial experience to both budget and navigate even the most complex of projects.

Anne Middleton
Vice President
Anne is a 25 year veteran of the luxury building and marketing industry, with extensive experience spanning both residential and commercial construction. She previously served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a nationally recognized homebuilder, where she led strategic growth initiatives and elevated the customer experience across diverse markets including the exclusive country club division.
Today, Anne brings that depth of expertise to Southern Coastal Homes, where she is dedicated to guiding clients through every stage of the homebuilding journey. From concept development to selections and design coordination, she works closely with homeowners to translate their ideas into thoughtfully curated, beautifully executed custom residences. Her refined eye, market insight, and client-centered approach ensure that each home is not only exceptional in craftsmanship, but deeply personal in character.
